Foxglove return with new single Bright Lights

Woman led and drenched in indie pop power foxglove return with Bright Lights

Manchester’s Foxglove returned today with their charming new single Bright Lights. A song written about remembering the good times and shutting out the bad. 80’s synths and a catchy chorus make this song an anthemic and honest account written by lead singer Abi White. The single hits you with waves of pre pandemic nostalgia throughout, painting hazy pictures of nightclubs, 1am takeaways and northern city nights.

“This track was all about hitting that nostalgic feeling and that’s what we feel whenever we play this track. It’s a very anthemic song within the choruses, weaving in the 90’s distorted feeling. The rest of the track feels like an 80’s synth ballad, with big hard hitting snares and glittery guitars. The track is an amalgamation of our favourite genres from when we were growing up.”

The new track is sure to put a smile on your face even through the hardest times. Not only is it pop perfection it oozes power and confidence, Foxglove have everything you want in an indie band and so much more.
