London band Phantom Isle have released a dark but aesthetically pleasing for their track Mar V.
The video is a mashup of clips they had gathered from their previous tour and a few artistic shots too. The track itself is about feelings of anxiety and loneliness despite the melody being where rock and house music meet in perfect harmony.
“The lyrics were actually written about feeling anxious and alone” comparing that feeling to an old friend that follows you through life, you almost miss it when you leave it behind”.
Sam Thorne – Writer/Drummer
The video is partly presented in portrait clips against a black background that move to the timing of the track which instantly creates atmosphere and more of a gothic vibe than just showing an old tour clip throughout the duration of the song.
Mar V is the perfect blend of rock and house that seamlessly captivates both audiences and Phantom Isle are without doubt destined for greatness.
