Ted Fish – ‘She’s Electicity’ review: Ted Fish brings the party with electronic new single

For fans of: Dadi Freyr and Deco

With a merge of rock, pop and house Ted Fish released his new single ‘She’s Electricity’ on June 2nd and with the tracks electronic beats it’s sure to get everyone up on the nightclub dancefloor post lockdown.

So far Ted has previously released one EP and two other singles all of which are available on Spotify. She’s electricity however is most definitely my favourite as it seems to focus on the vocals more than previous tracks meaning it feels more like a lyrical song that is for everyone regardless of taste rather than a more niche instrumental dance track. (Hey if that’s your thing than go for it!)

When I asked Ted about the single he exclaimed:

The release week was a huge success with more streams than I anticipated! It’s the first time I have felt confident to sing and create a music video which was well received with lots of hype and excitement!

Artist: Ted Fish

As ‘She’s Electricity’ does have more vocal parts it does cater for a variety of different tastes meaning it will appeal to a wider audience and means it will most definitely get stuck in your head for all the right reasons!

Without losing your interest in the single it really reminded me of this years Iceland Eurovision entry artist Dadi Freyr who of which everyone is now obsessed with and rightly so. Both artists use synths to create sounds and catchy dance tracks.

I purposefully choose sounds and effects which evoke provocative feelings.’

I have to admit this style of music is not something I’d instantly listen to or even feature here on Generation Indie however it really made me smile which is something I think everyone needs right now and I’m always trying to broaden the range of great artists I feature here.
